ALM's Legal Innovation & Technology Awards took place in London yesterday (23rd May) with Addleshaw Goddard and DLA Piper emerging as the big winners of the day, taking home three awards.
Hosted by British comedian Stephen Bailey, who did a fantastic job entertaining the lunchtime audience and presenting the awards, the ceremony recognised the achievements of lawyers working alongside business services departments including marketing, business development, finance, IT, project management, operations, public relations and recruitment.

This year's Disruptive Technology award winner was Gavel, a no-code, AI-enabled document automation provider; the Excellence in Litigation and Data Science award went to litigation analytics platform Solomonic; Product of the Year was won by contract review and drafting provider Henchman; and Product of the Year – AI award went to contract lifecycle management vendor ContractPodAi.
The three awards DLA received are Outstanding Training Innovation in the Private Sector, Excellence in Litigation Technology, and Future of Legal Services Innovation in a Large Private Sector Firm.

Addleshaw Goddard's awards were for Outstanding Marketing, PR and Communications Innovation in the Private Sector and Diversity Innovation in the Private Sector, which he shared with Michael Kennedy.
