Apple is reportedly close to a deal with ChatGPT creator OpenAI to integrate the company's generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technology into operating systems such as the Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Apple stock rose on Monday on the news.

Apple stock rose 1% to 184.94 in morning trading on the stock market.
Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives said in a client note on Monday that AI in Apple's next iPhone 16 series of phones will give consumers a reason to upgrade. Ta. He said Apple may monetize some AI services through subscriptions.
“As more apps and tasks can be performed with generative AI, Apple stands to monetize a significant revenue base in the coming years with its unparalleled 2.2 billion (units) installed base. ,” Ives said.
He added, “Apple is developing next-level solutions using OpenAI that will allow Apple users to perform complex tasks and more advanced features that will eventually become a separate monthly subscription service along with other AI capabilities.” We look forward to building on the Siri technology.”
