Apple today released a new update to Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser that Apple first introduced in March 2016. Apple designed the Safari Technology Preview to test features that may be introduced in future released versions of Safari.
Safari Technology Preview 193 includes fixes and updates for accessibility, CSS, forms, JavaScript, rendering, Web API, and Web Inspector.
The current Safari Technology Preview release is compatible with machines running macOS Ventura and macOS Sonoma, the latest versions of macOS released by Apple in September 2023.
The Safari Technology Preview update is available to all users who download the browser through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences or System Settings. Complete release notes for this update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.
Apple's Safari Technology Preview aims to gather feedback from developers and users about the browser development process. Safari Technology Preview runs alongside your existing Safari browser and is designed for developers, but you don't need a developer account to download it.
