PHNOM PENH, March 12 (Xinhua) — Several Chinese high-tech companies unveiled their latest products at the Digital Technology Expo held here in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh on Monday, attracting many tech enthusiasts.

Sien Sokrida, Huawei's marketing director in Cambodia, said a variety of Huawei's latest products were displayed at the exhibition, especially tablets and laptops.

“Huawei brought new technologies to the expo, such as the latest tablets on the global market,” he told Xinhua news agency. “We also want to show you that the MateBook series and Huawei laptop keyboards are water-resistant.”

Mr Sokrida said the Huawei brand is very popular in Cambodia due to its high quality products and very competitive prices.

“Huawei's brand has always focused on quality, we offer standard warranties, and we have a service center here, so most consumers trust our products,” he said. Ta.

He said the expo was a great opportunity for Huawei to introduce its latest products to all technology enthusiasts.

Son Karona, a second-year information technology student at Norton University in Phnom Penh, said the expo was a great opportunity to gain insight into the latest developments in digital technology around the world.

“In terms of technological equipment and devices manufactured by Chinese companies, I am interested in laptop computers that are thinner and more intelligent than before,” she told Xinhua during a visit to the expo.

“Those laptops are Huawei products. For me, Huawei products are well updated year after year,” said the 19-year-old student.

The Digital Technology Expo, held in quick succession with the Digital Government Forum hosted by the Cambodian Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, ran until Wednesday and brought together 120 institutions and technology companies.

“This is a platform to promote the development of digital technology and share the latest advances in digital technology with the world,” Cambodian Posts and Telecommunications Minister Chea Bandes said at the event.
