Birdzell, who has more than 20 years of experience in technology products and services, also recently addressed the important role HR will play in guiding companies through the cultural changes that AI can bring about. “Introducing 'AI-lite' into the workplace to improve productivity will cause changes in corporate culture,” he said, noting that these changes include job changes, new skill requirements and employee It added that this could include an evolution in expectations.
According to Birdzell, HR leaders are “natural stewards” of navigating these transformations. “Culture eats strategy for breakfast,” he wrote, quoting management guru Peter Drucker, and added that this insight “doubly applies to AI deployments.”
