Comcast Technology Solutions has been selected by AccuWeather to create, manage and deliver its linear and over-the-top video channels.
Comcast Technology Solutions' managed channel origination services are designed to improve operational efficiencies, reduce capital expenditures and enable customers to monetize a first-class viewing experience at scale.

The two companies have signed a multi-year agreement under which CTS will acquire, prepare, produce, package and distribute linear TV and OTT channels for AccuWeatehr.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Comcast Technology Solutions has been providing managed channel origination for hundreds of channels from its U.S. facilities to serve viewers across North America, and last year CTS leveraged Sky's Master Control video and metadata platform to expand its MCO capabilities into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
