Copenhagen, April 19, 2024 – The Climate Technology Center and Network (CTCN) today marks 10 years of technology and innovation for adaptation, mitigation, and resilience. During that time, CTCN has funded more than 300 technical assistance projects across 112 developing countries thanks to donor governments and partners. This is to support sustainable development efforts based on the Paris Agreement.
As the implementing arm of the UNFCCC's Climate Change Technology Mechanism, mandated under the Paris Agreement and hosted by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), CTCN provides, upon request, green technologies for low-carbon and climate-resilient development. was established to accelerate the development and transfer of of developing countries.
