DAHON has established an advanced methodology to refine “V Tech” with a focus on structural physics, finite element analysis, strain gauge evaluation, and innovative frame stiffness evaluation during pedaling. Dr. Hong has published one of his academic papers detailing this technology on his DAHON website, and he has three more papers scheduled to be published later this year.
To further attract industry attention, DAHON also launched a thrilling “Cycling Challenge” to showcase the superior performance of its “V Tech” speed technology and attract wide attention throughout the event.
At the competition, participants raced on a variety of DAHON bikes, including models equipped with new technology, in two categories with different gradients and distances.
A total of six bicycles participated in the competition: the latest road bike DAHON 700C that uses “DAHON V Tech,” the aluminum folding bicycle P18, and the carbon fiber folding bicycle P18. The competition was divided into two categories: Professional (gradient: 4.2%, distance: 500m) and standard (gradient: 1.4%, distance: 500m).
