Edison Vocational Technical High School unveiled the “Ladies Ladders & Lenses” mosaic mural at the school. Other students involved in the creation, who were not present at the unveiling, were Rajur Dunlop, Yaidimah Flores, Amari Corey Henderson, Azaria Williams, and CeCe Jones. The students are architecture and design students at the school and created the mosaic in honor of the Black Roses of World War II. It is a 10-year project showcasing pioneering women and will be displayed in the school's main hallway. Tina McIntyre Yee, Tina McIntyre Yee/Democrat and Chronicle Joe Morrell Jr., executive director of UNICON, which represents labor unions and business leaders, said that over the next 10 years, UNICON is committed to continuing to provide support (including materials) and help schools create murals of pioneering women.
