In May 2022, Flotweg's management announced a reinvestment in its Northern Kentucky operations that assemble and repair machinery for the company's existing customer base. The newly completed expansion, the company's fourth since 2011, comes in response to growing demand and will accommodate increased parts manufacturing. In addition, the grand opening will bring into operation the company's new 15,000-square-foot warehouse facility at Flottweg's existing campus on Toebben Drive.

“We live and work in Northern Kentucky, so it's personally exciting to be able to add to our staff with these highly skilled, well-paid positions,” said Rob Lear, U.S. managing director for Flottweg. “We're building a community of centrifuge caretakers who treat every machine like it's their own, and we encourage everyone to check our website regularly for open positions.”

BE NKY Growth Partnership CEO Lee Crume thanked Flottweg's leadership for continuing to invest in its U.S. manufacturing operations in the region.

“Northern Kentucky is home to more than 30 German-owned primary industry companies, particularly in manufacturing,” Krumm said. “Thanks to our ideal location and access to business talent, global companies continue to locate and expand their manufacturing and corporate headquarters in Northern Kentucky.”
