As David Tuppen, head of data and AI at GFT, recently told Technology Magazine, GFT provides a data strategy that perfectly aligns with an organization's AI goals and aspirations.

GFT has now announced the appointment of Marcos Santos as its new global CEO.

Marco has been with GFT since 2011 and has held leadership roles overseeing operations in Brazil, Latin America, and the United States, most recently as CEO of GFT Americas.

The 48-year-old will take up his role on July 1, 2024, and will initially lead GFT as co-CEO alongside Marika Luray until the end of the year. GFT also announced that in addition to his current role, his CFO at GFT, Jochen Ruetz, will become his Deputy CEO effective January 1, 2025.

Who is GFT's new CEO, Marco Santos?

Marco Santos joined GFT in 2011. He initially served as Country Manager for GFT Brazil and later led GFT's Latin American operations. In 2020, he also assumed responsibility for GFT USA and was appointed GFT Group Executive Officer. In 2023, he was promoted to CEO of GFT Americas, leading operations across North America and Latin America.

He has deep knowledge of artificial intelligence, next-generation digital platforms, cloud modernization, general management, professional services, and customer experience. His track record spans multiple sectors, with particular focus on financial services and manufacturing.
