Golden Pantry Food Stores has completed a major technology upgrade at all of its Madison County stores. The company has invested in new technology and state-of-the-art equipment to improve the customer experience at the pump and in-store.
With the introduction of new gas pumps and POS systems, Golden Pantry customers now have access to advanced card readers with chip technology and tap-to-pay functionality. These upgrades are intended to streamline transactions, improve convenience, and add a level of security for customers using credit and debit cards.
Katie Morris, Golden Pantry's director of marketing, said: “Our latest pumps not only improve efficiency, but also help protect our customers' financial information with the latest secure payment technology.” She said: “Customers can now pay with confidence at the pump.”
The new pumps also feature enhanced displays to inform customers about in-store sales, community events and Golden Pantry's philanthropic efforts through the Be Golden Fund. “We are committed to this community, and our new displays will allow us to better share what’s happening locally. Local nonprofits and organizations will be able to bring their organizations to the screen. We encourage you to contact us to film,” Morris added.
This technology investment underscores Golden Pantry's dedication to being a trusted neighborhood retailer that provides convenience and value and puts customer satisfaction first. Golden Pantry continues his nearly 60-year tradition of serving local communities by embracing innovation with a focus on security.
