Teacher experiences in manufacturing and technology boot camp programs can be used to strengthen the career readiness connections in the classroom that are embedded in core subject area instruction.

“Mid-Ohio ESC's Director of Grants and Special Projects, Amy Wood, said: “Teachers are, essentially, our best career readiness advisors. Teacher bootcamps allow teachers to deepen their understanding of the current state of local and regional career opportunities and use that knowledge to develop career-relevant learning. It’s a meaningful way to integrate it into the classroom.”
