Gurmukh Singh, senior lecturer in the Department of Computer and Information Science, has been selected as a member of the technical committee for the 12th International Conference on Information Technology and Science (ICITS-2024), which will be held on Phuket Island, Thailand from June 19th to 21st. During the fall semester of 2023, Mr. Singh had the honor of evaluating doctoral dissertations in philosophy completed by graduate students with faculty from the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Pune in Pune, India. Prior to joining the School of Computer and Information Sciences at SUNY Fredonia in fall 2005, Singh spent two years as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Physics at SUNY Fredonia, where he taught approximately 10 upper- and lower-level physics courses. Mr. Singh has published more than 220 research papers in multiple research areas including information systems, computer science, and machine learning, and has supervised several graduate students toward their M.A. (Honours) and M.S. .
