Factory automation supplier Muller Technology's custom mobile robotic system will be unveiled at NPE2024 in Orlando, Florida, May 6-10.
Mueller's new mobile manipulators (MoMas) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) improve traditional downstream automation with the ability to operate 24/7, while reducing OSHA recordable events, the company said.
MoMa combines AMR and cobot capabilities with vision-based arm-tip tools. MoMas is able to automate more than just basic goods transportation, allowing microprocessor production to take place in cleanrooms. MoMa can remove items from shelves, assemble components, and place delicate objects. The top is designed to carry empty or full boxes or pallets, allowing MoMa to perform repetitive assembly processes and transport goods to warehouses and trucks.
For plastics processors, Müller serves as a single source for comprehensive automation from molds to case wrappers to end-line logistics.
Muller is a partner with AMR manufacturer Omron and is an Omron Certified System Integrator, integrating AMR and MoMa into turnkey automation operations at its facilities in Colorado and Switzerland.
