Odfjell Technology has signed a two-year contract from Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortakligi (TPAO) for the provision of 10 whipstock systems and related services.

Odfjell Technology supplies whipstocks and anchoring systems and offers services for both open hole and cased hole requirements. The contract primarily serves TPAO's onshore operations based in the eastern and southeastern regions of Turkiye and includes an option to extend for a further two years.

The whipstock system will be delivered to TPAO Stock and associated service tools will be mobilized from Odfjell Technology's Romanian facility as needed.

TPAO engages in oil and gas exploration, drilling, well completions, and production. The main goal of the national oil company, which has more than 200 wells on 44 rigs, is to reduce Turkiye's oil and gas imports.
