Ten Pioneer students showcased their skills and efforts at the Ohio Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference held March 7-8 in Columbus.

Seven students ranked in the top 10 in their respective categories at Ohio State:

  • Cybersecurity senior Wesley Cleveland placed eighth in the computer security category.
  • Gaige Dishong, a third-year IT support student at Northmor, placed seventh in device configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Em (Madox) McCarthy, a third-year IT support student from Lexington, placed seventh in Information Technology Concepts.
Four Pioneer Career and Technology Center students have secured spots at the 2024 Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference (BPA NLC) in May. They are (from left) Bryce Browning, Bradon Stidham, Jason Lambert, and Gabriel Melvin.

The remaining four students placed in the top five and secured their spots at the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference, to be held May 9-14 in Chicago, Illinois. they are:

  • Gabe Melvin, senior in IT support, placed fifth in computer network technology.
  • Jason Lambert, a cybersecurity senior at Goal Digital Academy, placed fourth in Server Management with Microsoft.
  • Shelby City Schools cybersecurity senior Bradon Stidham took second place for server management using Microsoft.
  • Brice Browning, a fourth-year cybersecurity student at Celeryville Christian School, placed first in computer security. This is Mr. Bryce's second straight championship at the state level. Bryce is also the defending national champion.
