Pro-Palestinian protesters set up a small encampment Thursday inside the Fashion Institute of Technology in Chelsea, Manhattan.

Earlier in the day, protesters stormed the FIT museum at West 27th Street and Seventh Avenue, Fox News reported.

Video shows a large group of people forcing their way through the door, and security guards trying to close it but being overtaken.

Protesters chanted “Free, free, free Palestine” as they occupied the lobby of a museum on campus.

By Thursday evening, about 60 protesters remained in the lobby, where tents and a sign reading “FIT Gaza Solidarity Encampment” had been set up.

About 20 protesters outside handed out blankets, cardboard and markers to protesters inside, but security guards guarding the entrance barred everyone else from entering.

The museum was closed because students were camping, according to its website.

The NYPD had not responded to the university as of Thursday night.

“We are monitoring and managing the situation to ensure the safety of the entire FIT community, and this remains our top priority,” a FIT spokesperson said in a statement.
