A poll of claims processors in the UK and US found that 95% believe technology will have a significant impact on claims processing over the next five years.
A poll by insurtech company Sprout.ai found that 55% of respondents say they have difficulty reviewing and processing insurance claim documents and evidence, and the same number are dissatisfied with compliance and reporting. is shown.
More than a quarter (28%) of claims handlers say they have received complaints about delays or lack of communication, and 20% say they have experienced requests for more transparency in the claims process, according to the poll. and 17% said they had received a proposal for faster processing.
More than twice as many UK claims handlers (36% vs. 14%) say they have difficulty obtaining and reviewing claim documents and evidence than their US claims handlers, according to a poll. are doing.
