StoneRidge names Troy Couprider as chief technology officer

NOVI, Mich. , March 14, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Stoneridge, Inc. (NYSE: SRI) today announced the appointment of Troy Cooprider as Chief Technology Officer. Cooprider will support future innovation and growth by setting the company's strategic technology and product roadmap and overseeing its global engineering capabilities.

Cooprider brings more than 30 years of industry experience in automotive electronics to Stoneridge. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Technology at Stoneridge, where he led product innovation, advanced engineering, and technology strategy. He joined StoneRidge in 2020 as Vice President of Advanced Engineering and Engineering Excellence, where he led the development and execution of next-generation electronics systems. Previously, he was an executive director of engineering at Aptiv, where he oversaw global product development and launch activities for a wide range of electronics and safety products.
Cooprider earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. StoneRidge has filed more than 30 patent applications naming Couprider as an inventor.
