Columbia, Maryland, April 30, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Technology Advancement Center (TAC), a cybersecurity nonprofit that promotes small business and academic activities, STEM and workforce development opportunities, and proof-of-concept innovation, has announced a new appointment. We are pleased to welcome these members to our Board of Directors. Playing a critical role in setting the organization's strategic direction and strengthening resource development efforts, board members also serve as the nonprofit's voice and support her TAC's mission to the community and its stakeholders. Most recently, as Vice Chancellor for Economic Development for the University System of Maryland, Sadowski successfully fostered government-industry research partnerships, workforce development, and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Chris Hollifield, RAIN Defense + AI and Secure Halo Senior Consultant – Mr. Hollifield is a military veteran and intelligence professional with over 25 years of military experience. He served on the U.S. Cyber Command and Council on Cyber Impact Operations/Policy, AI Integration, Capability Development Strategy, and Partnerships while he served as Special Assistant to the Commander of the NSA.

Jennifer Bodensiek, Chief Development Officer, Greater Washington Junior Achievement – With more than 20 years of strategic leadership experience, Ms. Bodensiek brings together boards, executive teams, business and education communities, and leads youth and boosting the economy and workforce pipeline, starting with Jennifer also serves on the Maryland Governor's Workforce Development Commission, and previously held positions at JA Worldwide and Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Linda Singh, Owner and CEO, Kaleidoscope Affect LLC – Dr. Singh is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of leadership experience. She previously served as interim executive director and CEO of TEDCO, where she helped grow early-stage technology and life science companies to foster economic development. She retired from a global consulting firm where she worked for 21 years before becoming Adjutant General and Cabinet Secretary in the Maryland Department of Military Affairs. During her 38 years of service in the Maryland National Guard, she worked with senior officials to develop national strategies under the Department of Defense National Partnership Program.

David Tohn, Chief Executive Officer, BTS Software Solutions – Mr. Tohn is a retired Army Colonel with over 24 years of leadership and strategic planning experience in cyber operations. His last time in uniform he served as the NSA's Afghanistan-Pakistan mission manager, and in each theater he synchronized both SIGINT and CYBER operations. Prior to joining BTS, he led the transfer of advanced speech-to-text technology from academia and founded a successful startup company.
