MADISON, IL – Worldwide Technology has extended the naming rights to WWT Raceway in Southern Illinois with a five-year agreement following significant growth in the St. Louis region's race car industry.
The raceway is gearing up for its third consecutive Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series event this June, the first since World Wide Technology first acquired naming rights to the raceway in 2019. , all events are followed.
Officials say the new naming rights agreement will open the door to more long-term racing opportunities and economic growth in the region. This is his second consecutive five-year naming rights period.

It reflects the company’s innovative approach to technology, which aligns very well with the science of motorsports and racing. We are in agreement,” said Curtis Francois, owner and CEO of WWTR. “The past five years have been overshadowed by big wins, thousands of new fans, new technology, increased diversity in stands and tracks, and a huge economic impact on the communities around us that need it most. Last year's Enjoy Illinois 300 drew more than 57,000 people for the main event and thousands more for the weekend festivities leading up to the big race. The race is scheduled for June 2nd this year, with on-site celebrations and events starting as early as May 31st.
WWT says the raceway's involvement with motorsports extends beyond NASCAR events. The organization is also committed to expanding the appeal of the sport by supporting efforts to increase the diversity of drivers and their teams and create an inclusive environment for fans. WWT also provides innovative technology to race teams and tracks, educates students through STEM activations and programs, and supports employees who collaborate on race weekends.
